Goodbye Privacy

So, Gavin has overcame his fear of the tile in the last hour and now nothing will stop him from reaching his destination.

Just hanging out in his room, playing with some toys

It wasn't that cold inside but we were heading out to Target

Seeing the tile isn't so bad...this was a few days before he realized he can crawl across it easily.

Using the coffee table as a chew toy. This is a daily thing. I am constantly on him.

My handsome boy!
Mid-way to the guest bedroom where I was... this morning (1-27-11)

Yesterday- attempting to come across the tile. He walked like that the entire way both yesterday and today. It must hurt his knees!

When the Cat is away...

So it has been a REALLY long time since I blogged last. Lots has taken place since I did that so here is a brief catch up on what has gone on in the Kludt house. Thanksgiving came and passed and we had our 'Thanksgiving Dinner' at the fire station. It is always really nice to see everyone and have all this nice food everyone makes. We did our own Thanksgiving dinner and it was chicken breast and mashed potatoes. Ha!Ha!

Gavin and I flew to Michigan the first week of December so I could help my mom out at work and so everyone could visit Gavin. That was seriously the busiest trip ever! I felt like I couldn't get a breath in without coming or going somewhere. It was a nice visit anyway. Next was Christmas and it was great to be able to watch Gavin...watch us open his gifts. He was really happy with what everyone sent. I think we are happiest with all the clothes because this kid is a giant. I think we have him in a few 12 month shirts right now along with what everyone bought him at Christmas.

Gavin slept through New Years Eve ;) But I guess now that leads to now and how much he has changed since everyone saw him in December. Well, he is on the move now! He is crawling very quickly and trying to climb up on things though that is few and far between. He likes to use me as his way to stand by crawling all over me. Lately he likes to climb all over the couch, throw things, pull clothes from his dirty clothes pile into his crib, laugh this incredibly strange laugh (he laughs when hes taking a breath in so it is...very weird.), he has 2 teeth on the bottom, he likes to yell, smile, he enjoys when I wave at him from the other room, he loves to look at himself and now he smiles for the camera on cue. Mostly his busiest time during the day is ALL THE TIME. He never stops and I love it. He is saying Mmmmmm while I am writing this because I put him in his jumperoo and he is mad. Mickey Mouse is sometimes his favorite thing to watch but lately since he is on the move so much- he is less interested in the plot of it. Gavin loves music, he loves to hear the beginning and end of shows and their music (Mickey Mouse, Spongebob, he likes the Danimals commercial, Big Time Rush commercial, Choo Choo Soul, Dance-alot-Robot and we have a radio set up in his room so we can play Disney Music to him while he plays).

Here are some pictures I took today. We haven't had the camera charged so I haven't taken any in a long time but here are just some from earlier today (it's 4:30pm).

Gavin is coming to get me!

Yelling and getting into things

 Um...what are you doing?

Gavin! Get out from under that table!

Diaper changes are fun...

Using my legs to stand

Standing

Usually this is flat footed and butt in the air but I was amazed by his splits skills! haha!

See my teeth!?
